Short-grain rice for homemade sushi
OISHII Sushi Rice 1kg is premium short-grain rice with ideal stickiness, a soft texture and a naturally light sweetness. It cooks glossy and cohesive, making it perfect for maki, nigiri, onigiri and temaki.
Also great as a base for poke bowls and Japanese-style rice dishes.
Usage:
Rinse 3–4 times until the water runs clear. Add water at a 1:1.2 ratio (rice : water). Cook covered on low heat until the water is absorbed, then let rest 10 minutes. Season with sushi vinegar mix for authentic flavor.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place.
