Doenjang Korean fermented soybean paste
O’Food Doenjang 500 g is a traditional Korean fermented soybean paste, best described as the Korean version of miso, but with a deeper, stronger umami flavour and richer aroma. It is an essential ingredient in Korean cooking and is commonly used in soups, stews, marinades and stir-fries. It’s vegan, free from artificial additives and highly aromatic, meaning a small amount is enough to flavour an entire dish.
Usage:
Commonly used for doenjang jjigae, marinades, stir-fries and stews. Add towards the end of cooking to preserve its aroma.
Storage:
Refrigerate after opening.
